Member of Temple in Muncie Civic Theatre production of ‘Twilight of the Golds’

Published September 6, 2013 by Andy in General

A member of our congregation, Tom Steiner, is in the cast of Twilight of the Golds, a play that Muncie Civic Theater will present in the STUDIO THEATER September 6-7, 13-15, and 20-21.  Friday and Saturday performances are at 8:00 pm. The Sunday matinee on September 15th is at 2:00 pm and includes a talk back with the director after the show.

Tickets are $10 for adults and students. Seating is general admission.

This show is rated PG-13 for language and adult themes.

The story centers on Suzanne Gold-Stein, who discovers her son is destined to be gay and considers aborting the fetus. This doesn’t sit well with her gay brother, David, whose sexual orientation has never been fully accepted by his conservative family.

The show is directed by Louise Cracknell and stars Stephen Ikerd, Rachel Hertenstein, Steven Knipp, Tom Steiner and Rita Wessel.

The production is made possible by the Cathleen Casazza Memorial Fund.
